| Dog Show brings in record breaking crowds at Valleyfair! |

Attendance at the Cedar Fair park amphitheater soared to new heights this summer! The Extreme Canines Stunt Dog Show was a HUGE hit at the nearby twin cities based theme park, "Valleyfair". The Perondi's stunt dog show was the most attended act this year. Average show attendance was between 13 to 18 percentage of the parks total daily attendance. Valleyfair and the Perondi's weren't quite sure what to expect before the start of the season since the Valleyfair amphitheater is tucked away and faces the nearby "Wild Thing" coaster instead of the walkway. Therefore, park guests have to walk across train tracks, go up a bend, and around a corner in order to sit and see the show. Since guests can't just walk by and see the show in progress the park entertainment director made arrangements to add speakers to the back of the amphitheater. This allowed guests to hear hear pre-show announcements and the show in progress. It proved to be a great asset along with show advertisements posted throughout the park and being able to meet a dog before each show at the amphitheaters entrance. |
The Extreme Canines Show appeared on stage at the park from June 10th through August 27th, 2006, offering three shows daily except on Tuesdays. Professional trainers Chris Perondi, Jessica Ritchie, and Zak George along with their highly talented celebrity stunt dogs lead the production to success. Park guests chanted "dog-gone fun" throughout the show when asked what kind of fun they were having. Everyone was mesmerized by the extreme stunts performed by the Extreme Canines stunt dogs!!

During every show we promote animal rescue, spaying & neutering, and responsible pet ownership. This has been our mission since we started training back in 1996. However, this year we've decided to take our mission a step further by giving back to the community even more. We've chosen to give a portion of our souvenir sale proceeds to petfinder.com. They have been our premier online resource for finding new dogs for years. Many of our canines whom are now celebrity dog stars have been adopted through the petfinder.com service including our newest star "Action Jackson" (pictured below).
As we continue to encourage audiences from across the country to check their local animal shelters and rescue groups before selecting their next pet we also invite everyone to visit petfinder.com. After each show we encourage everyone to come see us at our souvenir booth, as a portion of our proceeds will go toward helping petfinder.com. We are proud to endorse such a great service as Petfinder.com and want to publicly thank them for helping us find some of the greatest dogs in the world! |
